Sarah Thomas, BSPT
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Florida in 1980, and has attended hundreds of hours of professional continuing education since then. Sarah has been a national continuing education instructor for the McConnell Patello-femoral Treatment Program. She has led numerous community education workshops regarding physical therapy topics, both in the clinic and at various business locations. Sarah enjoys reading, hiking, gardening and traveling with her family. Sarah says, "With a thorough understanding of the basic concepts of alignment and function, we have something to offer 99% of the population."
Randy Thomas, BSPT
Randy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Florida in 1979. He was a national instructor for the Institute of Physical Arts, and taught Functional Orthopedics and Soft Tissue Mobilization courses. Randy says, "I am truly blessed to work in a profession that has so many effective techniques that can really make a difference in people's lives." Randy enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and playing his guitar.
Megan L. Kearney PT, DPT, AIB-VR, CEAS
Megan earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Florida in 2012, and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at Florida Atlantic University in 2005. She has practiced in a variety of settings and is passionate about geriatric care. Megan is certified in vertigo treatment and Vestibular Rehab Therapy (AIB-VR), trained, and certified in ergonomics assessments (CEAS) and is proficient with Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS). When she is not in the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children, hiking, camping, gardening, and canoeing.
Mark Perez, PT, MSPT
Mark holds a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Texas State University where his thesis work was presented and recognized nationally at the American Physical Therapy Association's Combined Sections in Nashville, TN in 2004. Mark has proven himself to be a strong leader and aspiring clinician as his first position as a new graduate was as lead therapist for a new 30 bed wing in an inpatient rehab hospital and later served as clinical director for two other private practice outpatient rehab facilities. Before moving to Oahu in 2008, Mark spent four years working with underprivileged populations along the border in Texas and volunteered his clinical and bilingual skills with the DREAMS project in Acuna, Mexico which serviced disabled children with no health benefits. Upon moving to Oahu, Mark's love for the ocean and passion for surfing forever changed him. Integrating land/aquatic rehabilitation strategies, Mark specialized in working with surfers, swimmers, paddlers, surfers, and post-op spine/shoulder/knee patients. His 17 plus years of clinical expertise in sports medicine rehabilitation and passion for surfing afforded him the opportunity to be invited to work for the Oahu professional surfing medical staff that service prestigious surfing events such as the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing, Volcom Pipe Pro, Da Hui Shootout to name a few for the past ten years. Moving to Florida in December 2021 with his beautiful wife and two boys has proven a blessing to continue to embrace the active lifestyles of ocean lovers on the Atlantic coast side. When he is not busy providing the highest standard of care to his patients you can likely find him somewhere in the water.
Dawn H. Cooksey, PTA, BS
Dawn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science Education and Exercise Physiology at the University of Florida in 1996. She then went on to pursue her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Daytona State College in 1998. Dawn has worked in numerous healthcare settings including, home health, acute care, aquatic and outpatient. Dawn enjoys boating, spending time with family, traveling and being outdoors when not in the clinic.
Tina-Marie Schultz, Business Operations Manager
Tina-Marie is well traveled. She was born and raised in New Jersey, has lived in Europe, and then for 37 years of her life, in North Idaho. Since 2017 she has been a resident of Bunnell, Florida. She has visited 48 states (still need Maine and Hawaii), all the Canadian Territories, most of the territories in Mexico, Belize, the Yucatán Peninsula and most all of the Caribbean Islands. With her husband John they have flown their Cessna Super-Hawk north of the Arctic Circle and overseas.
Tina has a degree in Business Management and has owned several businesses, most recently Rosa’s Italian Market & Deli which was named Business of the Year in Post Falls, Idaho in 2010. She is a gourmet cook and instructor, published author, and a Master Gardener for over 30 years. Her hobbies include bow hunting, archery, travel, photography and reading.
Married to the love of her life John, and the mother of three adult children and one adult grandchild; she also has three fur babies at home, who she dotes on and, rest assured, they are spoiled rotten!
Taylor Rose, Front Desk Coordinator
Taylor has achieved her Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Exercise Science from University of Central Florida. Her dream is to get her doctorate in Physical Therapy.
She had played softball from age seven through high school in her hometown of Palm Bay, Florida.
In her personal time, Taylor likes watching movies with her two dogs Piper & Phoebe and her fiancée Ben. She also loves doing activities outside, traveling, and going to the gym.
Jheovany Hernandez, Front Office Assistant
Jheovany has earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. His goal is to become a physical therapist and gym owner. Originally from Arkansas, where he grew up playing sports, he then moved to Kansas and now to Florida where he hopes to attend school. Jheovany loves going to the gym, spending time with his significant other and family, along with learning new hobbies. He also drinks his fair share of coffee and has some proficient pottery skills.
